They turned out OK, but not too exciting. Then I remembered seeing how\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/folio.solidsight.net\/?p=927#comments\">Bob improved a Bryce Canyon shot<\/a> with a pan mask crop in the last folio. So I just scooted the smaller frame mount over the pics and arrived at this. I really utilized the 3D World mounting jig for the first time on this one, to try to save everyone too much eyestrain!\u00a0 (and criticism) \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The DOF, of course, \u00a0suffers\u00a0shooting at such a close and slanted angle.\u00a0\u00a0But the shapes and colors remind me a bit of Klimt and other curvy,\u00a0\u00a0<em>Fin de<\/em> Si\u00e8cle paintings. So, I can just enjoy the pure abstraction of it, without worrying just how sharp or well exposed everything is.\u00a0 I like looking at the floating, squiggly highlights and finding all the\u00a0tiny, nearly invisible\u00a0jets and drops\u00a0of water poking out in depth. <em>View this one with maximum lighting, if you can!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One more Bob V. tribute!
