“Invisible Falls”

"Invisible Falls"

I call these falls invisible because you can’t see them from the road. They are just below the road at a point where the Paradise River runs under the road. This is near the junction of the road between Paradise Lodge and Mirror Lake. One second exposure at f32 using Fuji Velvia.

Christine Falls

This waterfall doesn’t exist anymore. It was wiped out by a mudslide.

This is one of the most immersive photos I’ve ever taken. The hard part was waiting for the foreground branches to stop moving.

It was about one mile above Narada Falls at Mt Rainier.
