Sea and Santorini
Santorini is one of the Greek Islands we visited during a “Journeys of Paul” tour that Diana and I were on in June of 2017. Our vessel is the sailing craft in the upper left corner of the view, also depicted in Aft-Deck Morn, one of my other views in this round – quite an amazing boat. This was taken with my Sputnik, the only film camera I had on the voyage. Pretty sure I used the Sunny 16 Rule, shooting at 1/125.

This Sante Fe shop keeper agreed to have this environmental portrait done in the doorway. The Open shade made Velvia the choice – interior light balanced well by luck.
I like shooting store windows – reflections vs. transluscence. Thi one is more about the stuff, the sunflowers, and signage.
Velvia worked wll for this lighting scenario – side sun. I love how it saturates the colors.
I was absolutely awestruck when I came upon this scene. The picket fence, the metal barn, the broken glass, even the wires in the sky… and wow, what a sky.
Galisteo, NM. Late day with side lighting sun. This scene and the others around this small New MExico town, was a 3D wonderland to me. How many different kinds of fence can you count?

We were on our honeymoon, May 2011. This magnificent tree is near St. Johns Island beach, out of Charleston, S.C. They say it is 400-700 years old and shades/covers over an acre of ground.

This was taken in October 2011 (I think). I know it was October, because the leaves of the Cypress have this orange color onl7 2-3 weeks of the year. Caddo Lake, named after the Indians, is the only natural lake in Texas.

This fellow has four of these old Nash Metros and a bunch of parts. Dodi is our Lab-Black Mouth Cur mix. She is about 10yrs old now. Best pet ever! BTW, Old Yeller was a Black Mouth Cur.
