This shot is from 2000, I took it with my carefully adjusted Sputnik with a Vivitar 285H fill flash on a tripod. Probably 8 seconds at f16. This is an example of the terrific results the Sputnik can produce, this is one of my all time favorite slides.

Miracle Mile – Coral Gables Florida
The center island of the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables is lined with these trees. I used a TL-120 on a tripod with a Vivitar 285H fill flash, this was taken after sunset. The fill flash brings out a little touch of detail in the passing cars. I used an incident meter to determine the exposure, hoping to bring out the detail in the trees at the expense of blowing out the store in the background. I think this was a 30 seconds at f22.
Infinity Pool – Singapore
This is the famous Infinity Pool at the top of the Sands three-tower hotel in Singapore. You’ll find a lot of images online of this pool that feature the illusion that the back edge of the water drops off to the Singapore skyline, you’d think swimmers were in danger of falling off. This shot shows why they aren’t.

Golden Gate Bridge
Photographed with twin Mamiya C220 cameras with 135mm lenses. I used Provia 100F pushed one stop. I’m fond of the surreal effect of slightly hyper images taken with zoom lenses. If I take the time to calibrate the twin release cable the Mamiya shutters are easy to sync up. You can see a bird flying in the distance in this shot with no rivalry.

“Cos-Play” Comic-Con New York, October 2016

Maha Wizaya Pagoda, Yangon Myanmar
This is a smaller pagoda that is near Yangon’s Shwedegon Pagoda.

The Schwedegon Pagoda is considered to be the most sacred Buddhist temple in Myanmar.

Great Wall of China
This is the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall located 45 miles from Beijing. It is one of the most thoroughly restored segments of the wall.
Photographed with a TL-120 using Provia 100F pushed one stop. No tripod, I get good results with this camera using a waist-level finder and letting it hang around my neck.
New York Kite Festival
This was a New York Stereoscopic Society activity, we all had a great time shooting stereo of kites against the Hudson river and NY skyline.

Bagan, Myanmar
Bagan is famous for its thousand year old Bhuddist temples. Many of these belonged to wealthy families who built them next to their houses. The houses were made of wood and are long gone, but the temples remain.

Abandoned House, Mussoorie India
This was the view from the Plaza hotel in Mussoorie India. It must have been a gorgeous residence at some point. You can see that someone is living there, or at least hanging some laundry up to dry. Mussoorie is in Northern India at the foothills of the Himilayas.

There’s nothing quite like the Mermaid Parade, the participants loved to be photographed, and the stranger the camera the better.

Photographed with a TL-120 using Provia 100F pushed one stop with a Vivitar 285H with a diffusor for fill-flash. I believe it was f16 @ 1/125. The TL-120 seems to do fine with flash sync at 1/125 even though 3D World only claimed 1/30.
It was bright sunny day for the 2014 Mermaid Parade, fill-flash saved lots of my shots from excessive shadow detail.
For me fill-flash is like that commercial for hot-sauce: “I put that $#*& on everything!”
